Leave the pre-Christmas stress behind, discover culinary delights and enjoy the magical Advent season around Lake Wörthersee. The area is incredibly diverse and enchants its guests with a pre-Christmas lakeside experience to suit every taste.
Visit the numerous Christmas markets and soak up the unique atmosphere. The Advent market in Pörtschach has a quiet and contemplative atmosphere, whilst at the Pyramidenkogel, high above the clouds, you can stroll past the charming huts and treat yourself to a few Christmas delicacies. In Velden, a romantic winter fairy tale awaits, complete with everything you’d expect from a Christmas market.

Why not discover our sister hotel too – a hideaway with a front-row seat on Lake Wörthersee – the Seehotel Wallerwirt in Töschling. Somewhat smaller, wonderfully idyllic and also situated right on the shores of Lake Wörthersee, it offers a dreamlike alternative with a special charm.
