FAQ
Bootshaus Café and Restaurant
How can I apply for a job?
It’s simple: send us your CV and – if you have them – any certificates and a short cover letter by email to personal@werzers.at. We look forward to getting to know you!
What is the application process like?
Once you have sent us your application documents, we will review them carefully and get back to you as soon as possible. During a face-to-face interview, you will get to know not only our company but also your future line manager. If it’s a good fit for both sides, we will guide you through the next steps right up to your start at Werzers.
How are working hours and breaks regulated?
Your working hours are recorded digitally and documented transparently. You are, of course, entitled to breaks during your working hours. Our staff canteen provides fresh meals every day to keep you well fed. You can discuss holiday requests and days off with your line manager at any time.
Can I apply for several roles at the same time?
Of course! You’re welcome to apply for several roles. Thanks to our wide range of businesses and areas of work, we’ll work with you to find the role that best suits your interests and strengths.
Does WERZERS also offer work placements?
Yes! Every summer, we offer a wide range of work experience placements in the areas of service, kitchen and reception. You’ll be working in one of the most beautiful spots on Lake Wörthersee: in our boathouse right on the Pörtschach Promenade, in the lakeside restaurant with its stunning lake views, or in the modern Anna W. Bistro. This is your chance to gain valuable practical experience in a unique working environment.
Where can I book a table?
Please feel free to send an enquiry by email to bootshaus@werzers.at.
Please note that your table will only be considered reserved once we have confirmed your booking.
We are also happy to take table reservations by telephone during our opening hours.
You can reach us on +43 4272 42711.
What happens if I can’t make my table booking?
Bookings can be cancelled free of charge at any time – either in writing or by telephone by 12 noon on the day of the booking. In the event of a no-show, a charge of €30 per person will be made.
Where can I park?
For the duration of your visit to the restaurant, you can park in the public, pay-and-display car park by the tennis courts. Please note that you will need to take a ticket there.
Can I bring my dog with me?
Dogs are generally permitted on the terrace and in the restaurant area. We do, however, ask for your understanding that we expect your dog to be well-behaved, kept on a lead at all times and placed under the table whilst in the restaurant.
Is smoking allowed at the Bootshaus Restaurant?
Our restaurant is non-smoking indoors, but smoking is permitted in the outdoor area.
Can parties be held at the Bootshaus Restaurant?
The boathouse can be booked both for smaller celebrations as part of the restaurant’s normal service and for exclusive events such as christenings, weddings, corporate functions, etc.
