Werzers Bathhouse
Welcome to the historic Werzer Bathhouse, dating from 1895. Built right on the lake, this unique architectural gem combines the nostalgic charm of Wörthersee architecture with a modern lifestyle. Whether for moments of relaxation or special events – the historic Werzer Bathhouse offers the perfect setting for unforgettable moments right by the water.
The Bathhouse
Pörtschach’s historic gem
Originally built in 1895 as a swimming school, the Werzer Bathhouse is now the last surviving original wooden building of its kind and an icon of Wörthersee architecture. This gem, which has been a listed building since 1987, was sensitively and faithfully restored in 2013 by engineer Hans-Werner Frömmel. Today, it combines the authentic charm of the 19th century with modern luxury. A marvel of heritage conservation, this unique blend of lakeside wellness and event venue offers an unrivalled ‘front-row, unobstructed’ spot on Lake Wörthersee.
